Beepcode: single beep every 2 to 3 seconds continuous

FoxConn G33M02 motherboard, POST begins but after a few seconds beep code begins: single beep every 2 to 3 seconds continuous. My old A+ manual says possible bad power supply, but it may be different based on motherboard manufacturer. I have been unsuccessful in locating a list of error beep codes on FoxConn's website.

The computer was recently given to me by a relative and I was told it worked fine when it was last used. I can't imagine any possible damage that could have occured during transportation, but who knows. All connections from power supply to motherboard and devices inside appear to be good. With the exception of the printer, all peripheral devices were plugged in prior to power up.

Try taking out the ram and reinserting it also anything that is in the PCI Card slots.. other solutios is take and unplug each device and see if the boot up changes it will sometimes give a read code it might help eliminate the problem

Testimonial: "The information was very helpful. The problem was indeed with the RAM cards. One was making poor contact."

Long continuous loud beeping sound coming from the foxconn a7vmx-s motherboard. Please help

These are called Beep Codes. The kind of beep indicates that the motherboard cannot post, and gives you some idea of what is wrong. These codes should be located in the booklet that came with your motherboard or the computer. You can also try the computer manufacturers website, hopefully they posted a manual for your computer.

Phoenix bios two long beeps one short then continuous long beeps, no video. Foxconn mobo C1 LED post error.

According to:
http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

sounds like a memory problem. Take out all your memory cards and replace them one at a time (in different slots) until you find a configuration that works. then add in the other cards until you get the error message again.

Failed POST

Foxconn uses the Award bios. One beep repeating means, check for improperly seated or missing memory. You can find that here. http://bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm
Remove your memory & re-seat.

Good luck!
