SOURCE: IPU not found problem
I have the same problem. Unplugging the phone resets it, but the problem keeps reoccurring.
SOURCE: I get an error messege (carrige jam)
I have found that when I slide back the carriage to the left by hand and expose the bottom right hand side, there has been an accumulation of ink that is preventing a part from sliding from front to back. Inspect the bottom right hand side where the black and color cartridges normally sit. You will find a flat sliding piece directly beneath the position where the cartridges normally sit, that will not slide forward to the front of the printer and back towards the back of the printer easily because of the ink that has accumulated and is causing a drag. I used q-tip swabs and some alcohol and cleaned out the rails that the piece slides in. Use a flashlight to inspect. After cleaning it appears that it is printing normally again. Repeat the process as needed. Bob in NC
