I have a problem with my USB or phone software (I dont know wich). When I connect the phone to my computer via USB, it connects, then disconnects after a few seconds. Also sometimes the screen goes black, white and then restarts. This happens in both standard mode and file transfer mode.
1, clean the usb cable connections, both out and inside the phone
2. try to replace the usb cable to dku-2 or ca-53
3. make sure u have the latest firmware (6.43) by pressing *#0000# at the main screen.
if u don't i strongly advice to update it from nokia website.
but before u do make sure to clean the usb cable connector

hey me too hv 6288 and just now i updated wid 6.43 furmware...u just take ur usb cable(DKU-2 or CA53)and update ur latest nokia pc suite in dat there is a option of updating software try from pc suite ur problem will get solved but dont try to update ur phone through nokia website...u will not get success from their.

Dear Sunny1985, How do you flash a nokia 6288 or 6280? I have a virus (claimed by a technician) which is contantly making my internet connection online even though I have disabled it manually. Still does not work and a shop technician tried but could not solve the problem! Could you please guide me as to how I can restore it to it's original settings. Thanks
