After all your troubleshooting, I think this is likely to be as a result of your processor over-heating, maybe because of your environment, or because the fan is not cooling the processor properly again. Therefore my suggestion would be for you to unscrew your system (If you can do it by yourself), and try to clean, or better still replace your processor fan.
If you cant do it by yourself, you can easily get a technician to do it for you. This solution is actually if your processor is not yet burnt.
But if your processor is burnt, then you might have to change it to a new compatible one. but before changing it, try to test the motherboard with another working, compatible processor first, just to be more sure.
Then always make sure that your PC is in a well ventilated, cool environment and that the environment is free from dusts.
Hope this helps you out.
Goodluck!

Resolution issue.

If you have a CRT monitor, use it to connect to the CPU. Then let's see if it works, if it does, adjust your system display resolution to 1024x??? then save then shutdown. Use your LCD now with CPU and see if you will get a display.

Another issue would be, if you are having an EXTERNAL VIDEO card overriding your built video in the mobo. Please make sure that your LCD is connected to the external video card and not in your built-in video port.

Regards

Still lagging in WoW!

Answered originally by TimIsHectic:

Assuming you mean a bad framerate and not actual 'lag', the problem would appear to exist in your processor, as it is old and outdated. and only just fits the minimum requirements to RUN THE GAME, not run the game well.

Answer: You should upgrade your CPU to a Pentium Dual-core at least.

WoW System Requirements

Processor:
Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+
Recommended: Dual-core processor, such as the Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2
Memory: Minimum: 512 MB RAM (1GB for Vista users)
Recommended: 1 GB RAM (2 GB for Vista users) Video: Minimum: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 32 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon 7200 or NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or better
Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better

AGP texture acceleration not avalable :(

Well your card is still an ATI & things have changed a bit. You don't just need the drivers but you need ATI's Catalyst Control Center. Through the Catalyst Control Center you have a ton of control that you just don't get with drivers alone. Suggest you update windows first. You'll need .Net framework 2.0 min. Do not skip lower versions of .Net framework & only install one at a time. Install DirectX 9.0c from Microsoft here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=2
Than download ATI's Catalyst Software Suite File size 46.6MB:
http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeon-prer300-xp.html
Uninstall any other versions currently installed on your system.
If for what ever reason the uninstall fails download and run ATI's uninstaller "cat-uninstaller.exe" to clean your system from here:
http://searchna.ati.com/promosearch/?site=us-en&la=en&qt=cat-uninstaller&selectsite=ATI&sp_a=sp10039240&sp_p=all&sp-x-1=col&sp_f=ISO-8859-1&sp_q=cat-uninstaller&Search.x=9&Search.y=8
