Check for circuit breaker being tripped. Quite often the breaker protects both pieces of equipment. The Breaker handle will be positioned between "on" and "off". Push the handle to off, there will be resistance, but push it all the way to off, then push it to "on". You may find this also fixes the disposal problem as well.

Garbage disposal is not working?

Rather than the breaker, they have a trip switch on the unit that trips when the unit strains.

My garbage disposal will not start from a dead stop.

The motor start winding has gone bad, or capacitor burned out.
Generally disposals are replaced when motor goes bad.
Mostly because the disposal is sealed unit and cannot be easily disassembled.
If you have local motor-repair guy, who has disposal bearing parts, and can get the disposal apart, then repair might be possible... but the bearing seal would be hard to replace.

I get power through the reset button. No humming, no nothing. Is it a bad motor?

If i understand correctly, you tested the wires where they connect to the garbage disposal.
Those wires connect before the garbage disposal reset button.
If the reset button is locked in, then the reset is not popped out.
If reset will not reset, then the popped-out reset will push in but not click down.

If the reset is clicked in, and you hve 120V on the line, and the garbage disposal doesn't make any noise, then the motor is bad.
There are no replacement parts for garbage disposal.

My bager 5 seems locked up when you hit the switch it hums how do I get it unlocked.

One day years ago, our new garbage disposal got stuck, and started humming instead of grinding. My mom turned off the switch, then she grabbed a wood-handled broom and stuck it down in the disposal. I was wondering, what's that lady doing.

She took the wood handled broom and placed it on the disposal cutter wheel that was stuck. Then she wedged the broom against the sink opening, She pushed the cutter wheel forward until it was free. Then she showed me that the cutter wheel is supposed to spin freely even when the switch is off.

That's how I learned to un-stick a garbage disposal.

Disposal blade locked up after finding bone piece

You need to purchase a garbage disposal wrench. It has a Tee at the top and extends down to a pivot with a large forked head. Drop this down and turn the blades until they start to move. Remove the wrench, run hot water and turn on your disposal. Both blades should now be free. There also might be a red reset button on the bottom.

New Garbage disposal, washing machine and dishwasher won't work.

Does not sound like these problems are directly related to the disposer. Grinding sound is most likely the impeller on the washer's pump. The washer gets to the first pump out and is unable to pump due to bad impeller or an obstruction. Bad impeller means replace pump motor. (not very hard) Check water supply to dishwasher. Valve turned off or line kinked? Filter screen at solonoid valve plugged?
