I have 2.5gbRAM,512MB graphic card,intel processor core 2 duo.The game Assassin's Creed is very slow.what to do?

graphics wise this card does support the minimum system requirement but i am not sure about your processor. Can you please update your processor model.

Your motherboard supports cpu core2duo up to 1066mhz fsb.
E7400 got 1066mhz.
Maybe you have to update your bios version.

Well without knowing the card, i can tell you this.
I have a 8800gt 512mb, 4gb's ram and a 3ghz c2d e6600 and i get an average 42fps using the in game benchmark. It depends really what resolution you want to play at. I play at 1440 x 900. You would need at least a nvidia 8600gts or Ati equivalant card to play the game. Also a core 2 duo is definately needed to play this game smoothly- better yet if you have a core 2 quad. If you are using a laptop then I could almost certainly guess that it wont work. If you have a pc using intel graphics then it wont work either.

what you will need to do is accertain which cpu format you have in your machine and find out if you have pcie 1 or 2

2GB RAM should be about $100, the same for installation. Your current graphics card meets the specs you provided. An upgraded video card will be about $200 for one that will work, $300 for one that will work well.

do a fresh intall on another hard disk and then install driver and game see if it works if it does drivers if not ram.
