Stop scratching your head

only joking Debbie it might be folliculitis from my memory of watching the embarrassing bodies show.
This is where the hair folicles get irritated and scalp gets itchy and a white pus is secreted on the scalp/

2005 Lexus RX330. Brushed the side of door against a pillar resulting in white scratch marks. How do I get rid of these scratches short of taking to body shop.

I'm assuming the pillar is white and therefore transferred the paint onto your car. I've fixed this issue before with my Mothers RX350.

Clean any dirt from the area. Take a mild rubbing compound and rub in the direction of the scratch marks. It's a bit labor intensive, but after a few minutes you should see some improvement. If the scratch marks disappear, follow up with a polish wax to get rid of any mild scratches from the rubbing compound.
If the pillar actually removed paint from your vehicle, the best bet is to take your car into a body shop to get an estimate on repairs.

Locked ignition on 2001 grand am gt

there is a switch under the key housing, in the steering column. it is only accessable by tilting the steering wheel up. reach your fingers into the column with your hand cupped back towards you...you should feel the button on or around your finger nails. try to push it. your keys should come out now.

I need to inspect timing belt how????

No need to inspect, if it has 125k miles or more, replace it and the water pump. If you really want to look at it, take off your valve cover and it will be the only rubber belt you see under there on the driver's side. Scratch it with your finger nail, if it seems dry rotted, cracked, glazed or the teeth are fuzzy, it needs changed. always do the water pump at the same time because they usually fail close together.

I have a jeep grand cherokee laredo that the heat is not very hot, and the air that comes out of the vents is not the same throughout. how can i fix that?

Sounds like the heater core is dirty, take the fan motor out and reach inside the air vent, you can feel the heater core (scratch your finger nails on it), is there a bunch of debri on it, I found this to be a problem when there is a leaking heater core, (coolant leaks onto the core and dust and dirt attaches to it restricting air flow and reducing heat. Also you might want to flush the entire system and replace the coolant.

Yellow white goo under my valve covers but not in the oil

you have antifreeze getting in somewhere as it's the only thing that will make oil foam up and get a gooy greyish white color....you might check to see where it shows up strongest and check that part of the engine closely for a leak...
