Are the Batteries for the Tracfone LG420G and LG440G interchangeable? Both batteries are 3.7v; have the same physical dimensions; The LG420 has 900mAh The LG420 has 950mAh

Hi Angel, think I have the same problem...lg420. sorry don't have an answer...mine is at&t. Really hate going to at&t store, they are friendly, if they think you are there to buy something.

If the same voltage, physical dimensions and technology (NiMh / NiCAD, etc.) they are interchangeable. A *new* 950 mAH rated battery will power the phone under identical usage a little longer than a *new* 900mAH rated battery. I choose the higher mAH rated batteries whenever possible and at comparable prices because of this - everyone ought to, too.

try letting the battery completely die and recharge it. Do this 2 or 3 times. Sometimes "topping up" a partially charged battery puts a memory into the battery and it wont allow you to do full charge.. I let my Nokia get to its last legs before replacing the battery with a spare and then fully charge the other one. Both batteries are now at least 6 years old.. Yes , its an old phone...

Typically, if any phone also uses a USB charger for using a laptop of desktop PC, then it's no problem as long as the charger adapter fits the phones. (USB ports are standardized at 5 VDC output, so anything of 6 VDC and less will work just fine. A lower voltage will take longer for your phone to charge. DO NOT GO OVER 6VDC for phones that accept a USB charger adapter from a PC.

Or your phone isn't capable of texting internationally.If it's supposed to then you need to call Tracfone customer service and tell them.

To change the time on a Tracfone LG440G, turn the phone "off", then turn it back "on". If that doesn't work, turn it "off", remove the battery, reinstall the battery, turn it "on". Time should display properly. No way to change the time manually.
