sounds like a software problem or battery, try borrowing a battery and test it then if it doesnt work google firmware updates for you fone model otherewise take it to you service provider they can help

I had same problem. I've had my phone for 2 years and its been great until charge port went out. After extensive searches followed advise and ordered a universal cell phone battery charger from Factory Direct Cellular. $17.95 + shipping. I recieved it 7 days after order and guess what>?...it actually works!!!
Hooray! Be sure to follow instrucions on FDC site. Looks complicated, its not.
Special note: found the same charger on sale at Amazon. $5.99 plus shipping. I just ordered 2 more.

Absolutely not. You must use the LG charger, or you might get an improper amount of current into the phone and toast it.

Theres no solution for this problem they don't sell envy's anymore so the best bet is just gettig the envy2

it could just be the file, you can send it to your e-mail in a pic msg to check it (just type your e-mail it under pic msg) it will not charge u if u have a txt plan

The reason the phone won't charge is because the internal power port pins are broken off of their solder joints to the main board inside the phone. Wiggling it helps at first because the pins can still touch their connection points but after a short time that will cease to help. Google "cell phone repair". It usually cost around $50 to get it fixed with a new power port installed. Turn-around is usually 2-3 days.
