How do I get my text to go through?

I am thinking that 'be link you 59' as you wrote MIGHT be a Beolink from Bang and Olufsen.

Texting on this model a bit tricky. First pull up name & number of person you want to text to, if it is in your phone. Then hit short dash line under the word 'options'. Make sure #1, 'create message' is highlighted. Hit ok button. Now type message. If you want a 'v', for example, you have to hit the #8 button 3x quickly. If you make a mistake, hit 'clr' button on top right to clear it & retype. So, for example, you want to send the word 'please'. You would have to hit the #7 button once, wit a second for the curser on screen to move to next space, then hit the # 5 button 3x quickly to get to the 'l', wait for curser, then hit #3 button 2x quickly to get to the 'e', etc. You get the drift. This model is not very conducive to sending longer texts. It's too time consuming & annoying. But short ones are ok if you have the patience. IF you need a space in between words, hit the '0' button once (that's zero, not 'o'). This is where text code comes in handy for shortening words, such as "LOL" for laughing out loud, etc.

Once you are through typing note & want to send it, just hit ok button to send. It may take a bit of time for message to go through. If you type a lot, it may take up more than 1 page, if this happens, the phone will ask you 'message is 3 pages, do you want to send now', or something like that. The longer the message is, the longer it will take to send.

One thing to keep in mind, before you start typing, make sure you hit the bottom lower key that has the asterisk & up arrow on it 3x quickly, or else when you type, it will be all garbley goop. If you want a capital letter, you also have to hit that same key once before you hit letter key. It only works for one letter at a time, so if you need to do more than one, say you want to type "DVD", you have to hit asterisk key once, then #3 button for 'D', then asterisk key again, then #8 button 3x for "V', etc. If you need a symbol or punctuation, use the bottom right hand key that has the # sign on it. Hit it once & some symbols come up, you will have to move over to the one you want by using outlined area around the 'ok' button. Once you get to symbol you want, hit 'ok' button it will add that symbol or punctuation to your text & return you to your text area.

If you do not see the symbol or punctuation you want, hit small dash under the word 'next' & it will take you to the next page. I think there are 7 pages of these different symbols & punctuation.

I think there is a problem with your mousepad. It has become too sensitive even if you are not touching it. You will need it checked by a tech.

when it starts doing that hit the start button again then wait a few sec.

go to message setting, text message, text meassage center, then try changing to another center, ( i've got 3 dif centers to pic from but only the first one lets me send text messages)

I was having this very same problem with my brand new Propel. It seems that the longer the message is, the phone will split it into multiple messages, because it starts at 1 and as I continue typing it increments the number of messages to be sent. If I delete some characters, then the number of messages goes down. I seems like it allows about 160 characters per message.

What I'm still confused about it why it is driving your friends crazy. Are they getting the full message multiple times? I would think they would get multiple messages with a portion of your message in each. Are they getting the messages out of order?

This is a common problem. But there is a solution for this problem.
go to Messaging. Then hit Options. Scroll down to settings.
Hit text message. Options - Then "Message Centres".
Hit the Edit button and the following number should come up:

+47973100973
Save it and try sending messages. If again the same problem exist then call up your customer care who provides the services of your phone like Airtel, Reliance etc.. Ask the message center number and follow the above steps and save that service center number. Hopefully it should work. Thank you......

i cant get my text message workin it wont send i think i have tha wrong center number so can u help me???? i have a motorola bt60

Maybe you never activated the phone to receive txt messages. Call up sprint and activate incoming txt.

The same thing is happening to mines. It's like the right arrow is permenantly pressed. when I open up my phone it goes straight to "IM account". and I've never used that. Razr's suck. I think its possible for someone to send you virus through text message tho because it didnt start happening until this guy sent me a text/media message this morning. I think thats the problem.
