How do I fix inoperable devices on Dell Vostro 1510

Norton 360 has detected inoperable hardware devices. This could have happened when I was connected to a mobile wireless broadband modem and the power shut off. Its never been the same since

Go to Dell Support page, and then use their online diagnostic to determine what issues your computer is having. Before you start, copy down your service tag number so you can easily enter it.

If you need to download drivers, you can download them from the support page.

Use the control panel/devices manager to identify any components and use the settings panel to turn them back on or update drivers.

A bit of persistence is needed, but you should be able to restore all hardware settings.

The Vostro 1510 comes in a few subtle flavours so make sure you can identify and download the correct drivers for your hardware configuration.. 9 times out of 10 the software will prompt you and let you know if you are trying to install incorrect drivers.. also for Windows7 users, try either the Vista32bit drivers or visit the original hardware manufacturers site for compatible Windows 7 drivers..

Make sure you have the correct drivers installed for your OS and make sure that both wireless and bluetooth are enabled in the system setup. To do this, boot into the system setup by rebooting your computer and tapping on F2. On the left pane, look for Wireless (navigate using the arrow keys) then hit Enter, then navigate to bluetooth, make sure the setting is set to ENABLED (complete instructions for navigations and options selections should be illustrated on the lower portion of the setup screen). Once ENABLED, reboot into your OS and go into to control Panel open the bluetooth icon, make sure your external Bluetooth device (phone/smartphone, etc.) is set to discovery. Search for the device to see if it is detected.
The Bluetooth Icon will appear in the systray (lower right corner of your desktop task bar. Right click on that icon and then select the option you need. Make sure you enter the same device code in both the laptop and the device you want the computer to connect to. Hope this helps FixYa! I have install the drivers for my dell vostro 1510 webcam but i can't lunch to use it

uninstall the driver of dell vostro 1510 webcam remove the connection

now connect the webcam it will detect the new hardware found goes through this and give the path of the driver and check it .....

if after connect the webcam its not detect ....its may be your webcam or usb port problem

install the driver and program, in vostro ethier you installed or not the icon is on showing but if you try to use it can't use except you install the driver and software,

and should be exact driver
