Ge triton xl not draining

Get a schmatic and check out the relay and or solinode the operates the drain----check to see if any loose wires or connections----that's kinda the mechanical end of it the rest is electronic as in something out of sequence not going through full cycle-- kinda vague here--good luck

Have you checked to see if there are food particles that might be obstructing the drain? Check the bottom center of the unit, there should be a filter, it might be clogged.

there is a pump that runs off the drive inside that typically goes bad or if you pop off the grate on the bottom inside it may be plugged with food, dirt.

It's normal for a little water not to drain. However, many times it's that the drain hose isn't looped up high enough under the sink and water is draining back from the sink or disposer drain- into the dishwasher. If there's a disposer, be sure to run it once in a while, a good time is when the dishwasher drains. The hot water and detergent keep the unit clean, and draining correctly.
