I have a 1985 snow chief snow thrower. It's totally disassembled and I don't know how to put it back together. Can you please tell me where I can either find a manual online or book manual that would have exploded view diagrams so I know where the large go back on in the right order?

a single is just that a single auger that scoops snow and shoots it out chute their a smaller unit --a dual front auger scoops snow into another auger which shoots the snow through the chute the duals are bigger and they move more and heavier snow

Runs for 10 minutes then stops

clean the carb may have some water in there
shut off gas remove bolt in bottom of the carb
check for any foreign materials. (water,rust ,gelled up gas)
spray with carb cleaner put back together
change spark plug

When I went to start my craftsman model 247.88704 snow thrower, the pull handle rope came out. Can you tell me the best easy to put it back together?

on your pull rope housing youll find 3 to 4 bolts remove the housing inside youll find the place were the rope was tied in [ if it just came untied ] just rember to spin counter clock wise for your tinshion befor replaceing the rope then put back together

I have searched online and found a site that offer free downloadable manuals >http://www.manualsonline.com/

They do have tech support, so you might be able to explain to them that you need a schematic parts diagram more than just a simple user manual.

I'd be happy to walk you through it w/ my own personal knowledge, but I would obviously need to know all the information about what's " apart " then I'll know where to
help you start.
Also, the actual manufacturer / serial #'s on the engine and machine would help me help you.
