Want to connect PCVA-KB1P/UB Sony Keyboard to other computer.
Assuming that both computers are PCs, you should not need any drivers to plug in a keyboard.

Some keyboards have special features, especially "gaming" keyboards. If you want to have access to those special features, then you need a driver. Normal keyboard functions don't need drivers. When you say, "doesn't work", can you detail that more fully? I have dozens of keyboards, and they all work on all of my systems.
Ok, then. More questions for you: 1: what kind of plug does the keyboard have? It could be a round plug or a USB flat one. 2: What OS does the Toshiba have on?
Reason for the two questions. . . Round plug means "PS2 style" keyboard. If your Toshiba is a laptop, the round socket you're plugging in to may be for a mouse, not a keyboard. These only sense a new device on bootup, not when the system is live.
Try rebooting the Toshiba with the keyboard connected. PS2 keyboards need to be connected when the system is turned on.
All I can think of at this point is that the USB adapter needs to initialize, and the PS2 keyboard can't initialize after that. Getting a USB keyboard should be very inexpensive.
For your Toshiba, you do not need to bet a "Sony" keyboard, just a generic USB keyboard.
