Need AC for Server Room

My company's server room does not have a window (or outside wall). I've been looking at the portable units but they all seem to need close access to a window. Can you recommend a solution. For example, are there longer hoses available for intake and exhaust? If so, do they negatively impact how well the unit cools?

Thanks!

I find it amazing that in this day and age IT manager will still scrimp on there server room environmental systems! It must not be that critical! Anyways you'll be better off with a split type unit correctly sized for your server room. Toshiba now have small units that can pump up to 50 meters away if needed. the key is to have it correctly sized!

F95 error on Panasonic professional AC for server room

The F95 error code appears on Panasonic inverter air conditioners due to the overheating of the outdoor coil. It is basically, protection against the outdoor high-pressure rise. This problem usually occurs due to issues relating to blockages, a dirty condenser coil, cool mode, or low gas.

Uberhaus Portable AC unit is blowing cold air but room stay hot.

That unit is only good for 30-350 sq feet, May be less depending on is the room has an east or west orientation., is the room well insulated, is the door closed on room being cooled> My inclination on is that the unit is too small, it cannot cool a room of door is left open, if the window's do not darkening curtains or shades, if the outside temp is very hot. If unit is new I would return it for another one. I have installed this type unit and I felt it left a lot be desired.. Give me your room dimensions and I can calculate and give you size of room.

Remove exhaust hose

U need that hose to direct the warm air outside the area to be cooled. If you remove it, the hot exhaust will stay in the room being cooled and negate the cold air being directed into the room.

That is why regular room AC units are mounted on window sill. Cold air in, hot air out.

Why is my appartment getting cooler ???

An air conditioner really just moves heat from one place to another. Normally there is an inside unit and an outside unit, or in the case of a window unit, half is inside the room and half outside the window. In either case, it takes the heat from in the room and moves it outside. This portable unit apparently takes the heat from one room and dumps it into another. There is no magic heat elimination - it has to go somewhere.

Not cooling 110 sq ft room

The smallest retail AC unit will cool down a 110 sqft room if...
1. It is installed in a way as to dump heat outside... 2. There is actually cool air coming out of the AC (it is working)... 3. The windows and doors are tightly closed... 4. There are no major drafty leak issues (i.e. hole in a wall)... 5. You're not adding substantial heat energy into the room (such as having 10 sweaty fat men eating food while watching Super Bowl on a 56" LCD TV)... 6. The room has at least minimum insulation (the walls are not just plywood)... Seriously, if HEAT is leaving the room by way of the AC, the room temperature HAS to decrease, unless HEAT is being added back into the room in some way. This is basically the 1st law of thermodynamics.

I want to buy portable air conditioner, but the buyer said that i need put the exhaust tube near a window open to expel hot air, in my room not have windows

You do have to use the exhaust tube, would need to put a hole in your wall. Also, these units really generate a lot of heat. We tried one, it almost seems as if it actually makes the room hotter! You would be better off buying a small regular unit, constructing a hole in the wall to the outside.
If you absolutely cannot do the hole, you could get an extension to the exhaust tubing and maybe use a window in another room?
