SHARP AIR CON DOESNT STAY ON AND IS'T COLD

Maybe its the cord shorting out

my air-con remote control was out-of-order. How can I buy one in Hong Kong for replacement. My air-con model is SHARP CRMC A562... Thanks to acknowlege to my e-mail [email protected]

Hi Helen, i want to know the age of your Sharp Air con/Heating system. If its more than 1 year and you using it regular basic , then i suggest you change the battery or the remote control first then try . If the same thing happens then follow the instruction as per below image.

If there is also ok & look good then ,please call a service man and check the air cooling/ heating gas. Because you mentioned "I have the manual and have tried to reset the timers using the remote control but still no good. " Another chance you can take before call the service person, just reset the full system by remote control not only the timer. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

You can get a zoom spout oiler at your hardware store. Slide the ac out of its housing until you can see the fan motor clearly. Use a flashlight to see the shaft. Put oil right where the shaft goes into the motor, both places if you can see them. While there, check the ac for sludge or anything else you can **** up with a shop vac.

Did either of you solve your problem as I have the same problem with my Sharp unit
