I've found only one screw near batteries, but RC is still firm.
To disassemble and clean the RC71 remote from DirecTV
You will need:
•Sturdy, flat blade, like a letter opener or dinner knife
•Rubbing alcohol
•Cotton swabs
•and/or
•Compressed air
•Tiny Phillips screwdriver
Instructions:
1.Remove the battery cover by pressing down from the center with your thumb.
2.Remove the tiny Phillips screw above the batteries.
3.Remove the batteries. (Not required, but easier to handle.)
4.Using a thin but sturdy flat blade, pry the upper and lower halves of the case open. Do this firmly but with care not to break the small tabs that keep the case together later.
5.Lift the top off from the keypad. There are two loose keys above the keypad. Remove these and set them aside.
6.Lift the keypad from the circuit board.
7.Clean the keypad by blowing it off with the compressed air and cleaning with swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol (you don't need too much liquid). Remove hairs and dust and set aside to dry.
8.Do the same with the circuit board.
Put it back together:
1.Place the circuit board in the back cover, making sure it is seated correctly.
2.Do the same with the keypad, making sure it aligns with the circuit board.
3.Place the two loose keys in their spots on the keypad. They go in only one direction. You will know they are placed correctly when they seat all the way down.
4.Position the top over the keypad and press down until it snaps into place. You may need to press in several places around the edge.
5.Insert and tighten the tiny screw.
6.Reinsert the batteries.
7.Replace the battery cover.
Check for more screw(s) behind the label/sticker. Also, you may need to have a flat edge screwdriver or knife to prise open the remote.
There is no stickers or lables, all of information about model and etc is printed directly on plastic. I tried removing black top plastic part (one of 5 the RC case is assembled of), but i am aware of breaking it. Maybe i need to get several plectrums. The main question is what is the sequence, what shoud be removed first?

SOURCE: Disassemble DirecTV remote?
There are a total of SIX screws. You have already found two in the battery compartment. There are four more under the GREY panel on the front of the remote. That grey panel pries out; there are two tabs on the lower sides and one on the top, above the > button, that hold it in. Should not be hard to get it out to reveal the four screws. Take them all out, and the remove easily pries apart for service access.
