Volume problem, power is on and seems everything works apart from the actual sound.

Some devices just suck at audio. I have a Lenovo laptop that does the same. Bad onboard speakers require external speakers to produce suitable sound level.
If the ringout volume is very low, then try not to select a soft, silent or low ringing tone. Try to choose a ringing tone that is loud so that you can hear your phone ringout. Hope that was helpful?
If it's still sufficiently loud, why bother replacing it? Our hearing is subjective. Do all sources exhibit a lower level than you remember? If not, what's unique about the audio signal path for 'movies'.
It sound like a bad reostat in the volume control. if its under warranty send unit back to kenwood and have them replace the volume control, and possible speaker involvement.
I am a gitarist myself too and firstly let me tell you u have purchased an excellent guitar to begin with!! Now about the Neck\blues pickup.....If you say there is little sound this can be because of:- 1)Faulty bridge adjustment 2)There can be a problem also because of the neck of the guitar being a bit bent in or around the place where u have the pick-ups though the chances of that are rare.
If there is no sound then please contact your dealer to change the piece.... Have a great time playing
Hoping this helped.Any help regarding the above steps , feel free to ask them. See ya.
it sounds like a source level adjustment refer to your users manual and see if there is a way to turn the SLA up and if not then a small amp can be bought or purchased to boost the sound from the tv. check out the Fiio E5 for examples it might just do the trick
We had the same problem of pathetic sound quality and volume with a sony brava. Thats just the way they make tv's these days because most people buy a surround sound system as well. We bought logitec computer surround sound speakers for about $140 and plugged into the ear jack, problem solved, we have heaps of volume and stacks of bass.
if connected to a cable box is that vol up . and is the vol up on the tv at the same time, 2 remotes 2 volumes the other is that you may have changed the settings in the menu for surround / 3d or such and each effects max sound .
