Swann equipment is disposable, it so cheap not worth repairing. Buy a new name brand camera, you will save money in the long run. Swann equipment is garbage at a nice price.

The unit is probably not set to over write. If this is the case make sure you set the unit to ver write or it will quit record when the hard drive is full.
