I recently acquired a daewoo DVDS151 and the picture is in black and white only. i do not have the remote for it - is there a setting on the remote that will fix this problem? if not, is this a problem with the DVD player itself? thanks
If you are using a S-video cable, try "fussing with the connections" the ones on my cable are sensitive and if they get bumped and slightly out of kilter the image goes to black and white, but straightening and pushing the cables in firmly makes the color come back.
You have you're video cord in the wrong jacks. If you are using composite make sure it's in the yellow jack and make sure the player is NOT set to progressive scan.
If you are using component, make sure the cables are in the RED, GREEN, and BLUE jacks, but make sure you have the CORRECT red jack (not the right channel audio out...).
