Panasonic TH50PX60U power shut off and doesn't turn back on.

5 blinks is caused by the D baord according to the manual. You can get the replacement D board from www.tvrepairworld.com

I will be the barer of bad news. your Panel is failing. Plasma TVs are only made to last 5-7 years. 10-12 is more realistic from what I have seen. The TH46pz85u is a great model of TV but when that starts happening it means the panel is beginning to fail. Replacing the panel is cost prohibitive and they don't even make them anymore.

You will be wise to spend your money on a new TV. newer TV's are much more power efficient as well. your 46" TV draws a lot of electricity. Your TV draws almost 650Watts of power. A comparably sized TV today(55" or larger) Draws around 200 watts. Significantly less.

"The air conditioner cools the room but it shuts of." -- Temperature reached, but does not turn back on automatically? Stops short of reaching temperature? Shuts off for a period, but will come back on only to shut off again later?
Most importantly, how do you get it to turn on again?
"The power light doesn't come on while unit is on." -- If the unit is on and the power light is not, then the power light must not be operating (is burnt out).
Actual answer: "Can I replace the plug?" -- Of course you can.

I checked Panasonic and their call center is closed right now.Their troubleshooting help questions were very limited.You probably want to call them or a service center.This site does not allow me to see where you are or I would have found an authorized center near you.

set tv system to AUTO
tv image to 16:9 WIDESCREEN
video setup (depend on the connection)
