Samsung dryer dv317aeg/xaa has code on display

do Condition Door is open or door sensor is defective.

If you don't have clothes in it, the units moisture sensors will automatically end the cycle if you're on anything other than timed dry.

Could be the motor is full of lint. Depending on how mechanically inclined you are take the belt off and spin the barrel and the motor separately motor should spin free, barrel a little harder to spin,but spin at least a quarter turn after letting go.
