About not being able to add new contacts:

My phone is a Motorola XT555C. After I press "add new", it goes straight to "android.process.acore" then "has stopped unexpectedly, please try again", then closes out the whole program. I've tried deleting any excess or duplicate entries, but so far nothing seems to change that behavior. Don't know what to do -if I can't even add any new entries! [KITTY]

You may have exceeded the capability of the memory. Or see if you can reset the electronics to defaults without erasing any prior entries. Or can you export your data, reset unit, and then reinstall your data. Check with mfg for further suggestions.

SOURCE: how do i get rid of error message "the application

Hi,
It happens when the process is manfuctioned or corrupted. I advise to do a factory reset. To do so, turn off the phone, holdon the home button and press the power button. It will go to recovery console, now select "Wipe to factory setting", once finished, turn off the phone and restart. It should take care of the issue.
Thanks and regards,
Anil.B.R

SOURCE: My motorola flipout phone. Upon opening, the phone

Goto
Settings > applications > Manage Applications > Home > Clear Data.

If this does not help , then Perhaps you have too many background apps open thats making it crash?
I would suggest going to the market place and finding "TasKiller" it eliminates any and all apps that may be taking up memory from working in the background. It comes with a widget you can add to the homescreen for one touch elimination. after it clears everything your screen will be black and then might go to call log screen. Just hit the home button and everything will run like normal but it will be much lighter on the memory.

SOURCE: i get a force close message on my phone. what do i

This basically means the OS is having severe problems. You need to try a master reset first. If this does not work and there is no software update available from the HTC website you need a replacement handset.

Receiving message android. Process.acore has stopped. How can I fix this

Do you have your contacts backed up?
Try uninstalling Facebook if that is installed. If this does not fix your problem then try the following.
Settings>Applications>System Applications>Contacts Sync Adapter and press Clear Data, this error usually goes away. If this doesn't work, try clearing the data on Settings>Applications>System Applications>Contacts or Settings>Applications>System Applications>Contacts Storage.
If problem is fixed, then restore contacts and reinstall Facebook and make sure you don't sync contacts with it.
Good luck. Im going to sleep.

Pop ups saying certain items are not working i.e. google etc

wake the screen then press the power button to start power down. Then long press the pop up power down button til a prompt appears to reboot into safe mode. Select ok and then use your phone in safe mode. If it works without those errors then there is some app affecting your other functions of your phone.

I have a galaxy pro tab 10.1 that keeps rep the same error msg. ( unfortunately the process android, process.acore has stopped) and I can't do anything , I press OK and it goes away only to come right back...

I would recommend following the steps in the below link. It has detail information on how to fix this issue. Mine was same as you and it fixed. Though I lost a few apps and contacts. But did have a back up in my SD card and re installed them. Watch out and test your phone when installing the apps one by one and you could narrow down the culprit.

Doing a Factory Reset should do the trick. Be sure to **back up** your text messages, bookmarks, apps etc before you do this.
