WITHHOLDING PERIOD: DO NOT GRAZE OR CUT FOR STOCK FOOD FOR 7 DAYS AFTER APPLICATION. HARVEST WITHHOLDING PERIOD NOT REQUIRED WHEN USED AS DIRECTED. RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING HERBICIDE I GROUP Apparent Ravage Herbicide contains members of the Benzoic acid and Phenoxy groups of herbicides. Apparent Ravage Herbicide has the disrupters of plant cell growth mode of action. For herbicide resistance management Apparent Ravage Herbicide is a Group I Herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Apparent Ravage Herbicide and other Group I Herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if Apparent Ravage Herbicide or other Group I Herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Apparent Ravage Herbicide or other Group I Herbicides. Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, Apparent Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Apparent Ravage Herbicide to control resistant weeds. MIXING DIRECTIONS: Add the required amount of the product directly to the tank and mix well. APPLICATION: For Boom Application: Apply by a properly calibrated boom spray using not less than 50 Litres of water per hectare unless indicated otherwise in Critical Comments column. For Aerial Application: Apply at least 25 Litres total spray volume per hectare. The aircraft should fly as low as practical under the prevailing conditions to minimise drift. For High Volume Application: Apply a minimum 1500 Litres per hectare. For Knapsack Application: A 15 Litre Knapsack treats 150 square metres. Note: Spray when weeds are young and actively growing. A temporary wilting may be evident in crops after application. If seasonal conditions are unusually late or dry, seek further advice as damage may result from spraying under these conditions. Growers should seek advice before spraying recently released cereal varieties. There is a nil tolerance of pea seed contaminates in cereal grain and less than 100% control of Volunteer Peas could result in dockage. COMPATIBILITY: Apparent Ravage Herbicide is compatible with Flowable Igran*.

What is the mixing rate for round up to kill broadleaf weeds such as thistle, parthenium etc so that I do not kill the grass

Any round up mix that will kill the weeds will kill the grass. the only way I can think of is to tie a sponge to a stick dip in round up and apply to each weed, you will not have to cover the whole weed, just touch a few leaves.

Can you use star thistle killer for pool alaecide, if so, how much do you add to the pool

No, it isn't for use as an algaecide. Never use a product in a way other than that given on the label.

Star Thistle is a broadleaf (not an algae) that grows in pastures. Thus the products that will kill this weed are generally not labeled for use in water but to be sprayed over the weed on a dirt surface. The label of a Star Thistle Killer is available here: http://www.montereylawngarden.com/pdf/StarThistleKiller-2-columnlabel%2801%29.pdf .

The above product should not be allowed to get into ground water. So please get an algaecide meant for use in your pool.
