Wireless Mouse Doesn't work

My Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 stopped working after water damage but the battery still shows and such. The battery does act pretty dum though zoning every now and then from full battery to emtpy battery. Also the red laser at the bottome no longer shows. I'm wondering if i can still fix the problem or if I have to get a new mouse.

My microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3000 has stopped working. Everything including the battery and green light is working but when inserted into the USB cursor will not move.

Push the little red "connct" button on both the bottom of the mouse as well as the wireless receiver. If that does not work try referring to the quick start guide here.

I need to change the battery on my wireless mobile mouse 3000!

You can access the battery compartment in the Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3000 by pressing the release button on the underside of the mouse while prying up on the back of the casing. The red LED on the underside of the mouse will illuminate when a good battery is installed.
Hope this helps.

Hello. My mouse stopped working. I changed the battery; pushed in the "connect" button where the portable usb goes and it still doesn't work?

When you press the connect button, you need to press both of them. On most wireless models, there is a connect button on both the mouse and the receiver that plugs into your computer.

My wireless mouse 3000 just stopped working, what should i do?

I assume that you have already checked the batteries. I suggest that you unplug the transmitter from the USB port, wait 30 seconds and try again to operate the mouse. Also, you might try another USB port to make use that is not the problem.

My computer is installed with XP Professional and my new Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3000 will not work. Why?

Hi,
Make sure the batteries are new or charged.

To activate the mouse press the connect button on the receiver and look underneath the mouse for the connect button and press that.
All you have to do then is right click on the mouse to activate it.

Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 not working

I suggest you do the following. After having synchronized both connecting buttons in mouse and receiver, take off battery and next look for a tiny thin button that protrudes from one of the sides where the receiver is placed in mouse, hold it depressed and put back a new and fresh battery releasing simultaneously this button. Mouse would work correctly. Good luck!!! Chawah.

Try to take off battery and next push and hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse, put back battery and simultaneusly release the button,it might make the mouse operate correctly. Good luck!!!! Chawah.

Change battery mouse 1056

On this model you pop off the sort of triangular piece on top that says "Microsoft" and there is 1 AA battery underneath.
