Reboot with cd
Put the cd in the drive and the system might be set to boot from it automatically.
If not, Put the cd in the drive and watch your screen for which key it
says to hit to change the Boot Order or Boot Sequence, when you see the
message, hit that key. This is a temporary change only good for the
current boot cycle.
If you want to make a permanent change to the boot order or boot
sequence, reboot your system and watch the screen for which key it says
to hit to enter the Bios or System Setup. When you see the message, hit
the key. Tab over to change the boot order or boot sequence. Normally
you would make the CD/DvD drive 1st and the Hard Drive 2nd, because if
the hard drive fails or has a problem you can always insert the cd and
it will boot from it first. Just make sure when you boot that there is
no music cd or movie dvd in the drive or you will get a message saying
something to the effect of Unbootable device.
