Sony vaio notebook pcg v505cp power problem

Have you tried the Sony web site and download the driver you required. Recommended for the correct driver for your machine.

I can't find the sound driver, but you should be able to either 'update' the driver from the device manager, or download all sound drivers from the following link, burn to CD, and let the computer update from that automatically... http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks

The Power supply or AC adapter over heates if there is any power flucations. Try installing the BIOS update released for the Computer once. However, this is more related to AC Adapter only

1. turn off the computer
2. disconnect the ac adapter and remove the battery
3. reseat the RAM/memory.
   
4. without the battery or ac adapter, press and hold down the power button for 7-10secs
5. reconnect the battery and ac adapter
6. try turning it on

Link to the page . Go down to network file, download and save to a disk or stick from another computer of course. Use whatever media you put it on to install on your laptop.

its not motherboard problem its ram problem

you can use any laptop AC adapter DC output-16V and 4A (current). if its jack size natch your laptop DC jack.
if the adapter DC current less than 4A (over 2.5A at least) you should only make the battery charging without laptop turn on!!!

If power supply is supplying correct voltage, then you do not need power supply PCB.

Try starting the laptop with AC adapter and no battery, if battery is shorting out you may get same problem.

Test the soldering joint on the AC socket and laptop motherboard, if there is a bad soldering on laprop ac adapter socket, you get same symptoms.

If it is none of the above, and the adapter is fine, then it is usually a faulty motherboard.

hi, the problem seems with the RAM, remove and clean the contacts with an rubber/easer, this should fix ur problem,let me know
