imicro IM25COM-BK is an external Hard Drive for USB 2.0.
1. Did you install the Driver which came with your Drive?
2. Are you sure it is connected to an USB 2.0 port? Some computers come with USB 1.1 !
the hdd enclose may be bad/faulty
try connecting the hard drive inside your computer doing away with the hdd enclosure
the light only means its getting power not a connection to hdd
hope this helps
Listen, if unit will also not work in external drive , chances are that the logic board on hard drive is toast. And if the cmos cannot recognize the drive the chances of you being able to get data off of the drive are very remote unless you use one of those expensive recovery services.
I am still learning about this mouse since there were ZERO directions. There is a button on the Dongle and the bottom of the mouse that apparently have to be pressed at the same time to activate it. As well, the batteries don't last very long. Some say you can use rechargeable batteries; recharge batteries with USB cord plugged in. I haven't discovered what the button below the scroll button does..Good luck.
The Macintosh OS may not work with the drive due to the file system on the drive was created with windows. The drive may have to be re-formatted with the Mac to work on it. Now I don't use a Mac so I assuming the OS will have a problem with FAT32 or NTFS format that windows uses....I could be wrong.
