LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset Logo
Posted on Jun 05, 2009

After putting the headset into pairing mode, my phone (also an LG) will not recognize and pair with headset. Also tried another (non LG device) and that would not pair either? Headset used to work with phone and then one day just stopped? Time for a new one or is there something I am missing? Thanks

Sorry to report that the problem is not with the telephone, but with the headset. It would appear that the headset battery has died an untimely death and will no longer hold a charge for more than a couple of minutes. Kind of disappointed in LG for this one and am in the market for a new headset, probably one from Motorola. Thanks for the advice.

According to a VzWireless Tech, take the battery out for 30 seconds and then put it back in. The phone should reset itself to pair the bluetooth headset with the phone. If that does't work remove the device from the phone and start from step 1. I removed the device from the phone then I took the battery out for 30 seconds. Then I paired the bluetooth and followed the next steps to complete the sync.

Can't remember how to pair my LG HBM-710 to my new phone - Samsung Fascinate. Can you help?

to pair a blue tooth device to a phone first you must turn the bt power on the phone to on,then you have to put your blue tooth device into discovery mode, now most manufactures use the power button for thisw feature.By holding down the power button on your device when turning it on for 6 to 10 seconds it usually puts the device into discovery mode.there should be a light that stays on on your blue tooth device.once you have the bt device into discovery mode you will be able to pair the device to your phone by search or add new device, once it pairs it will ask for a pin or pairing code.most manufactures of blue tooth devices use a 4 digit factory pin pairing code they aare as follows 0000,1234,9999,or 1111 once youve put tjhe pin code on they will pair ,i hope this helps

I paired my H710 with my lg Chocolate touch and the phone recognized it and it seemed to be connected. I haven't used it for a while and when I try to connect it says that communication failed. I have been...

To put your headset again in pairing mode, you must assure that your phone's bluetooth radio is turned off. Only then, open your headset's boom. After it is in pairing mode, turn your phone's bluetooth radio on, and make it search for new devices.
Hope it works for you.

Unable to pair LG GM200 bluetooth 2.0 A2DP with Plantronics Pulsar 260. Error: "Request Failed" Please help in connecting this two devices

Each pair of BT enabled phone and headset is a particular world. I don't have the Plantronics, but my LG phone pairs fine with my Lubix stereo headsets. I'll tell you how I managed to pair them: I put my headsets in pairing mode. Then, on my phone, I go to 'Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list > Options > New'. If my bluetooth stack is off I'm prompted to turn it on. It starts to search for devices, and comes up with my BT headsets' name, I press 'Pair', it prompts me for the pairing code. I enter '0000' (the same code for your Plantronics' headsets, by the way) and Ok. Then, back to the Device list, I select the BT headsets and go to 'Options > Connect'. I'm good to go. After listening to music, I use to go again to 'Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list', select the headsets and press 'Options > Disconnect'.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Headset not going into pairing mode.

Hold down round button on earbud for 5-6 seconds until the lights blink alternating red and blue.....then, enable your phone/device to connect in pairing mode. This will be a "find device" command or something similar. Once they recognize each other....it will send you a screen to enter a code. This will be 0000.....enter that...and once they pair...you are good to go.

I have a LG scoope that I'm trying to hook my motorola H350 up to it. I lost the instructions and I don't really know if it will go with it. I need help!!!!!!

The quick answer is that you can put it into pairing mode, and your phone should recognize it. To put into pairing mode, push and hold the large power/answer button for at least 6 seconds. The light will start flashing, indicating that it is in pairing mode. Go into the Bluetooth menu on your phone and make sure Bluetooth is turned on, that your phone is visible, and that you can search for new headset devices. Make sure the headset is still flashing. When you discover the headset in the phone, it may prompt you for the code. I believe the pairing code is "0000". Add the device to the phone. You should now be able to use it with your phone.

If this doesn't get you there, do a search for H350 Manual to get a pdf of the user manual and quickStart guide.

LG RUMOR

With the H700 BT headsets the pairing mode is different from other BT headsets. to put it in pairing mode you first hold the talk button on the headset until the purple light comes on.Right after the purple light comes on you have to flip open the headset for it to stay in pairing mode. From there you continue through the phone. It will ask for a password; that will be "0000". then connect.
