    Thanks for your response.
I found in my mobile "All services" before connecting to BT set as follows...
    1. Headset Profile
    2. Handsfree Profile
    3. A2DP service
    4. AVRCP service

When i tried connecting its connecting and checked the All service but found only the following 3.
    1. Headset Profile
    2. A2DP service
    3. AVRCP service

I found the BT is connecting to my mobile with only Handsfree profile, i checked by receiving incoming call, i could able to attend calls in my BT sets, but unable to hear stereo songs using the Mobile MP3 player.

    Please help.

Info: Only once i connected to the BT set and able to hear stereo songs. and i could not able to connect to my BT with my LG GM200 since then even with the same steps followed... :-(

Sorry, if my English had hurt you by any chance. I was trying to listen the songs as suggested with the in-build music player and not with the FM Radio. In extend to my testing i tried the same BT Plantronics Pulsar 260 with my friends mobile "NOKIA 5130" and "Nokia 5800 XpressMusic", which its smoothly connects and i could able to hear nice Stereo songs... but not in my favorite LG GM200. Its keep Prompting me "Request fail" when Opted for "Connect" option.

I also tried with "Samsung Corby Pro" its connecting in A2DP :-(

Each pair of BT enabled phone and headset is a particular world. I don't have the Plantronics, but my LG phone pairs fine with my Lubix stereo headsets. I'll tell you how I managed to pair them: I put my headsets in pairing mode. Then, on my phone, I go to 'Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list > Options > New'. If my bluetooth stack is off I'm prompted to turn it on. It starts to search for devices, and comes up with my BT headsets' name, I press 'Pair', it prompts me for the pairing code. I enter '0000' (the same code for your Plantronics' headsets, by the way) and Ok. Then, back to the Device list, I select the BT headsets and go to 'Options > Connect'. I'm good to go. After listening to music, I use to go again to 'Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list', select the headsets and press 'Options > Disconnect'.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Turn your Plantronics headsets on. Then, on your phone, go to 'Menu > Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list', select your headsets (which should be listed, because they're paired) and press 'Options > All services' (if your BT stack is off, you will be prompted to turn it on). Which services do you see listed there?

You see, I'm trying to help you out based on some tests I'm performing on my son's GM205 (which is pretty much the same as the GM200), and here, with the BT stack turned on and after stereo BT headsets are connected ('Device list > Options > HS selected > Connect'), MP3s do route their sound correctly to A2DP. I haven't tested with videos, but I suppose they would work too. However, if you are making your tests with FM radio, here its sound is not routed to A2DP at all.

As I said before each combination phone+headset is a particular world, although BT is an international standard. It seems to me that Plantronics doesn't like LG, and vice-versa. You see, here we have the Lubix NC1 HS paired with my son's GM205, and they connect to each other as much as we want to listen to music.

Really sorry for not being able to help you any further. Anyway, feel free to contact me again, if you experience any changes in your environment, if you want.

    Cheers!
    Carlos

My plantronics 330 is paired to my iPhone 4. It works fine with the phone, but with no other applications. I want to hear the mapquest voice directions on my iPhone through the ear piece but it doesn't...

If you would like for your Bluetooth headset to stream music or any other audio applications to your phone, the Bluetooth profile in both devices must support Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) for audio streaming. Unfortunately the Explorer 330 does not support this newer technology. I would suggest updating your headset to a newer model but remember your phone must also support A2DP. The Plantronics Voyager Pro+, Voyager Pro HD & the M1100 Bluetooth profiles support A2DP. I will include a link for Bluetooth headsets below.

Plantronics Explorer 330. how do i pair it with my netbook?

With any device that has a Bluetooth application it will pair up with a bluetooth headset. You find the application in the tool section of your notebook, turn it on and turn on your headset. If you want to be able to stream music, you need a better headset, one that has A2DP in the programing. Please see the link below for a few headsets with A2DP.

I recently changed my cell phone to a Nokia model 6350 and would like to connect my Plantronics 330 Bleutooth to it. What steps should I take?

Maybe you should delete the pairing from your other phone, after that you just follow the directions on your phone. Make sure that the headset is fully charged. If you are looking for a Bluetooth to stream music, your headset must have A2DP programed in. Please see the link below for some examples of headsets with A2DP.

I am trying to pair a Discovery 925 to an ipod touch (2nd generation). It recognizes "9xxPlantronics Not Connected" I click on that bar (or line) and get the keyboard screen with the request to enter...

I might be wrong, but I think the iPod Touch, not being a phone, doesn't have either HSP (HeadSet Profile) or HFP (Hands Free Profile) bluetooth profiles, solely used for phone calls. Nevertheless, being an audio/video reproduction device, it must have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), from its 2nd-gen onwards. Your problem is that the Plantronics 925, being a monoaural bluetooth headset, bears HSP and HFP only. You were able to successfully pair it with your TP2 because it is a phone. You must purchase stereo bluetooth headsets, in order to pair them with your iPod Touch.
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

Plantronics explorer 330

I just figured out how to reset the 3XXPlatronics 330. The guest might of of made it a little confusing for some:
1) TURN OFF bluetooth head set by holding the volume control button for about a few seconds until it flashes blue.
2) Make sure your phone's bluetooth is on and on discover mode.
3) Turn on the blue tooth head set (NOTE: HOLD DOWN THE VOLUME BUTTON UNTIL IT FLASHES BLUE AND RED)
4) Lastly, go into your search menu to find new bluetooth devices. The device should show up as "3XXPlantronics" (PASSKEY IS 0000).
P.S. Keep in mind this worked for me, but if it doesn't work feel free to email me at; [email protected]
