Samsung SGH-D500 Display Keeps Going To Negative

ther's a deligate strip connecting sound & display to phone. just go to mobile shop and ask to replace tht strip, it will solve ur problem.

you mean your LCD? so your phone is no display now?go to the nearest cellshop in your place and ask if they have lcd of samsung d500

i have a samsung sgh-g800. phone just came back from repairs, replaced lcd and flex kit upgraded software and tested went to use the other day. screen is completely blank. has been charging for the past 2 hours still no change

if the reddish thing was a moist you must replace your lcd . . . otherwise if its negative color your flex is definitely damage,

replace screen or ribbon cable, had this problem recently with a d500 new screen fixed problem, (not an easy job!)

hi if u open the covers of the fone u shud av a flex cable going from the screen to the pad . if u just make sure they are not bluged out nd jus push them back in a little bit them u shud be oki i used to have that problem on my d500 nd thats the only way i used to solve it

i think the problem is the LCD,
did you clean it after after it feel into the water? if not just open your phone using the screw then clean it with the thinner...

Hi there!this is a ribbon fault that connects from the mainboard to the screen board!you can buy the ribbon off ebay for a few quid but its not easy to take the phone apart and change! i have done quite a few of these phones!its a common fault on slide phones!

my Samsung A800 also lost its inner display recently. When I open the phone, the inner display lights up but fails to show any image. Outer display is mostly OK, once it had trouble to "lock" the image and after opening and closing the phone a few times the outer display showed the image with light and dark bits inverted.
Switching phone off and on restores the inner display most of the time, but the image only lasts until I close the phone.
