That can be the symptom of a bad Ignition Control Module, or also a bad crank position sensor. The ICM can be taken off and tested for free at any parts store. The crank sensor circuit can be tested on the car with a multi-meter. Also small motors (like a fuel pump motor) that are starting to fail can sometimes work until they get hot and then stop working until they cool down again.
Next time the car shuts down and won't restart, check for spark on a spark plug wire with the engine cranking over. If you have no spark, suspect the ignition control module or the crank position sensor. If you still have spark, but won't start, check if the fuel pump is putting gas up to the engine.
At this point you'll want to hard boot the computer and hope it completes when you power it back on.
Hold the power button down for 5-7 seconds and the computer should lose power. Leave it off for 30 seconds and then power it back on. It should resume the updating again.

3 HOLD DOWN THE POWER ON/OF BUTON ON THE UNIT AND PLUG THE UNIT KEEP PRESSING UNTILL IT EMITS A BEEP SOUND FOR APROX 5 SECONDS
4 DISCONECT POWER AND PLUG AGAIN
IF THAT DOES NOT WORK
1 DISCONECT UNIT
2 HOLD DOWN THE MODE KEY ON THE PAD OF THE UNIT AND PLUG THE UNIT
KEEP PRESSING UNTIL IT EMITS A BEEP SOUND APROX 3 SECONDS THE UNIT WILL START.
3 STOP THE UNITS OPERATION BY PRESING ON/OF
4 RESTART UNIT.
Start the computer and keep tapping F2.
No u will be in the setup utility.
Press F9 for loading default settings and press enter.
Press F10 for saving settings and press enter.
Now your computer will restart.
If u are getting the same error message, u should replace your hard drive.
If not, try doing a complete system recovery.
Follow the steps to do system recovery.
Power on the netbook and keep tapping Alt+F10.
That will take u in to the recovery mode.
Select complete system recovery.
This process will take around 30 to 45 min and make sure u plug in the AC adapter.
Also note that u will lose all your datas.
just a guess here but check coil for breakdown check timing and even check plugs wires distributor cap and even catalytic converter if it clogs up it can cause these problems
Go ahead and turn off the computer and disconect all the peripheral devices along with the disk in the cd dvd drive. Do a power drain and then restart the computer after 1 to 2 minutes. Hope it will work.
This will be a protection feature of the head unit. If you are not using an amplifier, when the power required by the speakers exceeds the power output of the head unit, it will cut out until the volume level is reduced.
If the head unit turns completely off, you may consider adding an amplifier to the sound system.
