I finally had to have them replace the unit. If doing a factory reset does not help, then I would have them replace it. Mine started rebooting infrequently, but then started doing it more often. They didn't waist any time getting my replacement out.
Please make sure you back up all your contacts/email before proceeding. I use Google on my phone through the Outlook option. Google/Outlook syncs all my mail, contacts, and calendar.
RESET: Software: SETTINGS > ABOUT > RESET YOUR PHONE
Hardware: 1) Turn off phone 2) While holding down both the Up/Down Volume buttons, turn unit on 3) Keep holding down the volume buttons until white screen appears 4) Press the Down Volume button to reset to factory defaults. 5) Restart phone

FOR HTC wildfire
Do a hard reset:
Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.
1. Turn the power off. If your HTC Wildfire is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire.

Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

you will lose everything on your phone but this is the only way to get it back . IF! there is no hardware type problem that is causing this.

2. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until you see this message on the screen:

3. Release the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Make sure your TouchFlo app is turned on. Goto Start, settings, Personal TAB, Today icon, Items Tab. Scroll down the list of items and check the TouchFlo 3D item then click OK.

I've heard the lock option doesnt appear when Touchflo is running. Try pressing the "end call" button, apparently that works!

This can be an indication of a Out-Dated Firmware. In this matter, you need to download the Software Updater tool from the Official HTC Website. If not available, take it to a Service Center of HTC and tell then to install the upgraded version.

Hi. TouchFlo is the special today plugin for the HTC devices, and as you realized, you can still use all functions of your PDA without. I think there is an error in the installation of TouchFlo (There can be a bunch of reasons, we have to know everything you did with your PDA in order to guess them), but there is a safe solution for that problem, you can backup all your personal data and software to your PC, then you can hard reset your PDA to its factory default settings. That way both your phone and the TouchFlo will work. try pressing the reset button near the charging port on the pda if it doesnt work try to hard reset it as follows other wise check xda forums for software dead HTC

hard rest factory default settings = when ur set is switched off press both buttons call and end key and then press power button on upside of pda for like 5 sec screen will appear asking to format all data take out ur card if u dont want to format that now confirm by pressing the centre action button in 4 side joystick and go

I had the similar problem. And the clue is given by AnLIo himself :-).

I got this problem when i recieved a SMS. Even after deleting the SMS the problem persisted. Then i realized may be the message box is full (could be a bug in TouchFLO). So I started deleting all un-Important messages and reduced the number of messages to 10. And once i did this, I was able to launch my TouchFLO even after Restarting the mobile :-) ....

i did all things described to get the screen workin,pressed the red n green buttons simultaneously n with the friggin stylus i pressed the reset button underneath, pulled the battery out a coupla million timesn put it in, but it jus doesnt unlock, the touchscreen aint workin, i can call, mssag or do anything except recieve calls, Arpan
