It doesn't go past the same screen. I've had to reset this thing 4 times since I got it for my daughter in January and it's NOT the first unit we've had that has gone bad. I think I'll send it back for warranty replacement and sell the new unit to help pay for the upgrade to a Nabi.It doesn't go past the same screen. Use the Kurio App Store application on your tablet or Play Store. You cannot download Kurio apps on your computer. Your computer uses a different operating system (Windows/Mac/Linux) than your tablet (Android).
To perform a factory reset, unplug the Kurio and turn it off by holding the power button for 5 seconds until the screen displays "Power Off, Shutting Down..." Once the device is off, press and hold the volume down button and power button at the same time until the screen lights up with "KD Interactive."
Hi, I have not had the pleasure of holding one in my hand.....but I am sure that if u play around on the fone u will find quite a lot it can do....select the control panel icon and browse. .if u not sure what u doin...just hit the return icon and start again.....
You can perform a factory reset by holding the volume + button and power button at the same time. Release the power button after 5 seconds but keep holding the volume + button until a screen appears with options. Use the volume + button to scroll down to factory reset and then press the power button to select it. Next you will have to scroll down using the Volume + button again to highlight yes and press the power button to select. Once the reset is finished, you have to set up the tablet again, but at least it works. Hope this helps.

You'll need to do a factory reset: 1.
With the device off, press and hold Volume
Up and Power.
2.
Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue
to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use
the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4.
Press Volume Up continue.
This will reset you device to factory settings, however
anything on your SD card will still remain.
At this point you will need to start fresh as if you just
bought the device -- register with your email address, etc.
