How to install a forward facing baby seat in 2005 gmc 2500 pickup truck

I no longer have the book and the stickers are worn off, having a hard time figuring out how to lock the seat belt that goes through the carseat. I did find a hook up high Behind the headrest but that does nothing for the bottom. Did not find any other mounting hooks, so I assume I have to use the seatbelt. But it won't lock, letting the carseat move. Thanks for any insight, and yes I've shut the airbag off too ; )

If you are able to feed the seat belt through the car seat, latch it then using the weight of your body and your knee in the seat push the car seat down and pull the seat belt out all the way until it stops. Once it starts reeling back in it will make a clicking sound letting you know it is locking. Feed all of the slack back into the reel and the seat will be locked into place.

SOURCE: Rear seatbelt stuck behind head rest in locked position

haha we know you didnt do it on purpose, without seeing your problem and the hard to describe issue, i can only recommend to maybe try folding the seat to the cargo position, if that helps. if not, then you will more than likely need to disassemble the rear quarter panel, and unbolt the seat belt retractor from the body of the vehicle. sorry but there is no other way

How do I turn off passanger side airbag in a 2005

the key switch is for rearward facing seats for infants/babies upto 9 months.after that age it is best to buy a seat that can be adapted to grow with the child.they are expensive but you can use them in most cars so when you have "little one"you have the seat and when son/daughter have it they have the seat.also, the child should only be in the rear of the car.NEVER in the front.
WHAT PRICE CHILDS SAFETY ??????

2002 Envoy Forward / Back seat motor no longer functioning

First of all did you check the fuses? There should be one for the seats. If they're ok then get a Haynes Repair Manual for your 02 Envoy it'll probably even have illustrations showing you how to do it. Its my best advice, you can get one from just about any auto part store.

Dodge ram 2500 1999 heter core need to be reaplace

I have a 2000 1500, but from what I can see it is the same fix. You need to pull dash forward. 2 bolts behind kick panels one on either side. Screws along top windshield I believe there are 6. Detach steering shaft. (lay down on drivers side facing up. 2 bolts hold in place) This should allow entire dash to tilt towards seats. Heater core is passenger side. You will see 2 metal lines going through firewall. This is your heater core lines. Detach these from rubber hoses inside engine compartment.

Here's where you can follow the book, or do it the easy way... The book says you need to remove the ENTIRE dash and discharge A/C unit before removing.... I have a way better fix.

With a hacksaw cut the metal lines off the top of the heater core (its already junk so don't worry). Pull up on heater core to remove. Now the tricky part. With the hacksaw, cut through the plastic housing. Start far right and cut down until you meet the natural break in the 2 pieces of plastic. Now start another cut on the far left of the housing and again cut straight down. You are creating a door for the new heater core to install. ***Save this piece of plastic housing as you will need it***.

Install new heater core and then use JB Weld to fasten "door" back into place. This should save you about $300 and hours of time. Have fun...
