Messages cannot be received. It is displayed on the mobile that ''reading sim'' Whwnever a message comes it is displayed that ''message cannot be received''

HI is your phone not working to make a call or receive call and so on then is your phone displaying any messages like sim invalid ,sim lock or any other messages once you insert your sim in it then it mean your phone is locked to some other network provider due to this it wont accept any other GSM sim until you unlock it ..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like UnBBLock.com here they are rendering network unlock code for all blackberry mobile models at reliable cost .Else if you want to unlock some other mobile model then visit sites like Unlock-Zone.com here they are rendering unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost ..After unlocking the phone you can freely use it with any GSM sim ..

place your sim on a another mobile and check still you didnt receive any messages. If still ther is no messages then contact your service provider and ask them why they block your incoming and outgoing message facility. If you receive messages on that sim then you can reset your phones software

i cant send or receive messages from my mobile, sony ericsson w100i . "Message Corrupt" is the message given when i open my inbox in a conversation mode. in normal inbox i can see an empty message. Before a week it showed "Out of memory delete messages" displayed. And i bought this mobile only before 2 weeks ago.. Please solve my problem.

Hi,I suspect it's related to your sim card (network), not your samsung cell phone. In most cases, regarding text messages, the problem is from the Service Operator. Have you tried the sim card on another phone? If not, remove the sim card, insert it on another phone and try sending a message from another mobile to you number, or you can do it in vise versa by inserting another sim card on your mobile.

If you can't receive text messages even it's inserted on another handset, then you need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

You can check the message center number, but I don't think it's very much important in your case, well, if you wanna try, just check the text message settings and verify that the message center number (which is currently in use) is the same number which is on another phone with the same network (the other sim should be of the same network in your area). If it's different, make the changes and save the settings. Also disable the "Receive Via" or similar settings.. (I can't recollect the exact settings as i don't have the same model with me, please excuse me for this.).

If the same sim card doesn't receive text messages using another handset, don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it, first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

IT CAN BE FIXED BY ONLY CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE..

n order to activate MMS (picture, audio video messages) settings you are required to call your customer care and ask them what sms you have to send in order to receive mms settings. Once you get the settings save them on your phone and make it default settings. Switch off your mobile take out your sim for 02 minutes and restart your mobile with sim inside it. Now you are ready for sending or receiving picture messages.

try entering the (+) plus sign and the country code then the mobile number / editing the numbers of your contacts. such as, a mobile number alone (depending on the sim) that reads as 09178943874 must be edited as +639178943874 (noting that +63 is the country code).

it is becoz it was mms massage or some file it dosen't support by mobile so u must reset ur mobile ans delete that file

i also have lg kp 110 ,it is not reading my airtel prepaid sim card plz give me solution....
