I cant get youtube videos

Is probably aFlash Player error. Please followthese steps to upgrade to the most recent version of Adobe's Flash Player: 1. Beforeinstalling Adobe Flash, you will need to first uninstall any older versions youcurrently have running on your computer. To do so, download Adobe'sofficial uninstaller here. Make sure to select your correct operatingsystem, and then "Uninstall Flash." 2. Now thatyou've uninstalled the older version of Flash, follow Adobe's instructions for reinstalling the most recentversion. You can download Flash Player on this page: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ 3. Once you'vedownloaded the file, please exit your browser first, and then install theupgraded version of Flash to you're computer. 4. Finally, open your browser again and go to YouTube. You should now be able sosuccessfully watch videos! If theinstructions above don't resolve the issue, please also try the following: 1. Temporarilydisable popup blocking software installed on your computer to test. 2. AllowYouTube.com as a trusted site in your Firewall software. 3. Ensureother applications like Quicktime, iTunes, Real Player, or Windows Media Playeraren't set as the default streaming application, as this might affect the videoplayer. 4. Make sureyour computer is set up properly for Flash:Confirm you allow the websiteFlash content to play on your system
View the settings manager for your Flash Player installation. 1. Right-click(Windows) on any Flash content. 2. Select" Global Settings." 3. Select"Global Storage Settings panel." The Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager should display. 4. Select"Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer." 5. Restartyour browser and try playing an embedded video.
  • To view or change the privacy settings for websites you have already visited, use the Website Privacy Settings panel.
  • To view, change or delete the storage settings for websites you have already visited, use the Website Storage Settings panel.

Check the browser security level
Make sure that the security level is not set to High or to acustom level that doesn't allow viewing of ActiveX controls. Typically, thedefault security level (medium) allows you to view Flash content. For a customlevel, ensure that both Download Signed ActiveX Controls and Run ActiveXControls And Plug-ins are set to Prompt. For example, in Internet Explorer: 1. ChooseTools > Internet Options 2. Clickthe Security tab 3. ClickDefault Level, or click Custom Level
  • Find the section ActiveX Controls And Plug-in
  • Set Download Signed ActiveX Controls to Prompt
  • Set Run ActiveX Controls And Plug-ins to Prompt

My new packard Bell Onetwo M D6321 64 bit system will not function with Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X. Im using internet explorer (64 bit) as my browser. Adobe website keeps leading round and round...

The component is named 'ActiveX'.
The version of the Adobe Flash Player was 9-point-something, but now
the current version of the Adobe Flash Player is 10-point-something.

So, use Add/Remove Programs to _remove_ Adobe Flash Player.
Restart your computer.
Access: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
and allow the ActiveX control downloaded from Adobe to be installed.

Unable to install EasyLink Internet Launchpad to my computer

I posted this on Amazon earlier, where people seemed to be trying to solve similar problems:

I followed all the tips here and on other sites to no avail. This AM, I finally found the problem: I had to update the flash/activeX plugins for Internet Explorer and then it worked.

I'm a Firefox user, and things were working fine until one day, mysteriously, I started to get this "Please install Flash Player 9 and ActiveX" message when we tried to launch the Easy Link software. I had Flash Player 10 on my PC, but I followed peoples' suggestions and tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the browser plugins, etc. Nothing worked.

Then, thinking that ActiveX is something that helps a browser run content on a web page, I wondered if the missing ActiveX component that Easy Link was complaining about wasn't browser-specific. So I closed Firefox and Started Internet Explorer, updated the Flash Player from Adobe's website through that browser and Easy Link started working right away.

I suspect that at some point Vista did a software update (as it sometimes does) that included a new version of Internet Explorer. That version probably wasn't updated to the latest Flash plugin and started causing the problem with the Easy Link software. I didn't notice it of course because I don't use Internet Explorer. If anyone is still having the problem, I recommend opening Explorer, going to www.adobe.com and clicking the button that says "Get Adobe Flash Player". Worked for me (finally).

Can't get Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX.exe to download.

Flash player 9 is actually not the latest version. If you want to install the latest version which is version 10, follow the steps below:

a. Download the most recent Flash Player uninstaller to your desktop from the TechNote below. Please read the instructions in the TechNote before running the uninstaller.
How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control
http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
b. Quit ALL running applications, including all Internet Explorer windows, other browser windows, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger or other messengers. Check the Windows system tray carefully to make certain no applications which might possibly use Flash Player is still in memory.
c. Open the following folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
d. Run Flash Player uninstaller.
e. Check if there are files left in the folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash. If there are any files left inside the folder, delete the files.
f. Download and install the latest Flash player at:
Flash Player 10,0,12,36 Active X (for Internet explorer)

Flash Player 10,0,12,36 Plug-In (for Firefox,Netscape,Safari,Chrome,etc)
