My gmc 2002 envoy stopped while driving to discover that there is no water inside radiater and temperature is high ...what will happen to the car?

Depends on how hot and how long it was running without coolant. Let the engine cool down. Then add water to the radiator, start the engine, check the water level and keep adding water until it is full. Make sure that the serpentine belt is ok. Check to see if there are and large coolant leaks. If the engine has a miss or is blowing out white smoke from the exhaust pipe then damage has been done. If everything seems ok, then let the engine cool down again and recheck the coolant level. Make sure that the serpentine belt is ok.

My Citroen Zara Picasso has started to emit a smell like hot water no change in coolant level and no leaks inside the car

If it wasn't a coolant smell, just water. It could be the A/C condensation drain. Very possible that water could drain on the exhaust.

Coolant level keeps getting very low?

Check the upper intake gasket, you may have a leaking gasket. Check the bottom of water pump and see if it is leaking, if so pump needs replaced. The seal within the water pump sometimes goes bad and leaks out seep hole on water pump bottom. Make these checks with engine off!!! God-Bless!

How do i remove engine coolant cap on 2001 cadillac dhs

WAIT UNTIL YOUR ENGINE IS COLD,YOUR RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP IS LOCATED ON THE COOLANT OVER FLOW RESERVOIR, THATS WHERE YOU ADD COOLANT WHEN COOLANT LOW,YOU POUR COOLANT IN THE OVER FLOW RESERVOIR UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL REMAIN AT FULL COLD MARK DONT OVER FILL OVER FLOW RESERVOIR, WHEN COOLANT LEVEL STOP DROPPING WHEN ADDING COOLANT AND COOLANT LEVEL STAY AT COLD MARK ON THE RESERVOIR YOU RADIATOR HAS THE CORRECT COOLANT LEVEL IF COOLANT LEVEL KEEP DROPPING CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND RADIATOR AND THE TOP AND BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSES, LOOK FOR COOLANT LEAK AT WATER PUMP GASKET OR SEAL OR LEAK AT WATER PUMP WEEP HOLE IF YES REPLACE WATER PUMP.

I have a 2000 chevy blazer 4.3 auto my windsheld builds up with steam i change the thermostat thinking it was that but still steaming up the windows

Hi, if it is steaming up the inside of your windows, you have a water leak in your heater core. It is located on the passenger side enclosed. Check you water level also. You can try adding some engine stop leak, a good brand is Bar's leak that will seal any small leak which is what you probably have. Make sure you are running a 50?50 mixture of antifreeze. Good Luck, and please let me know.

There is a light in the dashboard that says "check" with the shape of a little water tap. I don't know what it means.

With the engine cool, Check coolant level, or may be overheating. If coolant is low or severely low, fill it, keep cap off and start engine, allow it to run and continue to add antifreeze until level of coolant stops going down and replace cap. Fill the expansion (overfill) tank to the full cold level. Allow engine to reach operating temperature while observing the engine, radiator, and hoses for leak and look under car for drips. Also check for wet carpet inside at the front, usually on the passenger side (not sure exactly where heater core is in your Kia), so also check the drivers side. This will indicate a defective heater core, if the leak is bad. If the leak is only minor in a heater core you will notice a sweet smell inside and/or windows will steam up when you run the defrost. Also, if coolant is low check radiator cap, If you don't have to push down with slight-medium force to turn and remove it, it may be leaking there.
Hope this helps.

Low coolant level

The water pump is mounted in the center passenger side of the motor possibly inside with timing belt but if it is leaking you will see the water and coolant in that area.

My car is over heating and cokkent oil is leaking

Cars generally overhead when engine coolant is below acceptable levels. That can be caused from leakage, blockage or equipment malfunction.

  • Inspect coolant level in the vehicle's reservoir or radiator.
  • Inspect radiator and heater hoses for cracking causing leaking.
  • Inspect the radiator for leaking.
  • Inspect the inside of radiator for smudge build-up, a sure sign that the water jackets might be restricted.
  • Inspect water pump for leaking or broken belt (serpentine belt)
  • Check to ensure water pump properly functioning, does the pump's pulley turn?
Repair or replace any faulty item.
