My ion sound splash can be detected on my iPod touch and all that but not on my computer. I turned my computer off like a week ago and ever since then it hasn't worked. There used to just be a picture in my devices and printers that I would click on and it would connect. Now that image is gone and when I try to re-add the device it doesn't pick it up. I tried plugging it into my computer and still nothing. I have no idea what to do I have tried everything I know how to do.My ion sound splash can be detected on my iPod touch and all that but not on my computer. Turn on the machine, press F12 once the Dell splash screen is displayed, the boot menu will show up. From the Boot Menu, use up-down arrow keys on the keyboard and highlight the CD/DVD/CD-RW and press Enter. You will see another menu, select "Boot from Cd-Rom" and press enter to select it. The system will boot up from the CD-Rom. Please note that this settings is only for one time boot, once the system is restarted, the boot sequence will be restored to the previous saved settings. If you wish to set it from the Bios, enter the Bios settings by hitting F2 or Delete (should be shown at the bottom of the Dell splash screen) while you see the Dell Splash Screen. In the Bios settings menu, go to Boot options and make the changes with the boot sequence.

You have to check also Disk Management while your HD is connected to the
your computer.
First, if you can detect the HD in your Device Manager but not under the
Disk Management, then the IOGEAR Tech Support is could be correct.
If that's the case, you need to contact IOGEAR and ask them to send you a
USB Y-Cable. That Y-Cable is FREE. IOGEAR will just ask for your
billing address, and they can send you one for free.
That Y-Cable has two type-A USB and one mini-B USB ports. The two type-A
should be connected to the computer, and the other end to your HD.
Having two USB connected to your computer, that should be enough for the
HD to get power from the two USB ports.
If that did not help, I would suggest to connect your HD into different
computer to see if you can detect it.
If you do detect it, back up all the files, reformat your HD, change the
drive letter, and then retrieve all the files back.
You probably need some sort of media player or something that will allow your vcr to play the tapes through the computer and will allow you to save it in some type of format such as windows media player or something. After that you should be able to transfer it to DVD with a program such as roxio. To see if your computer is detecting your vcr hook it up go to my computer and look for a new storage device.
You're saying that there's no sound coming on your computer or you lost the songs save on your computer?? If the problem is there's no sound coming from your computer make sure the sound device is working properly check it under device manager..
