That might meaning that's it's draining the residual charge left on the battery, before it can be charged, but if it does this for more than an hour, your battery is "toast".

You have a power supply problem.Most brand they have modules.
If you can open the back you will see a few separated Modules.You
will see a power supply module just replace it Take note of the connectorsThey have letters usualy to match the plugs.
By the away do you have any sound?

That is your low battery indicator.
A green light means that the battery is not low,
a red light means that it is low.

You can check the battery level manually
by pressing the function button, then F1

Hey there sounds like you might have the red ring of death. Which is usually a hardware failure.

1. Try turning your Xbox 360 on and off.
2. Make sure all your cords and cables are firmly plugged in.
3. Once you have tried all of those trouble shooting tips, turn on your xbox and see if you get an error screen.
4. This will usually be a black screen with multiple languages on it. on the upper left or right corner a letter E followed by a number will appear.
5. If it is an E74 error, then call 1-800-4my-Xbox
6. Microsoft has extended the warranty for Xbox 350 with the E47 error

this works to record progam you watching
1. press menu key
2. highlight DVR button by using either < or > key then press OK button
3. answer prompts

Do this to set up a recording in advance or a series recording
1. Hit the guide button
2. scroll thru channels until you find program you want to record
3. scrool over to red dot press OK button
4.you can the highlight red dot for one time recording or go down one to record every episode. make sure you check the settings for this program.

I was just reading another blog on this problem and it seems you must clear any recording setup you have for the program the go to the settings and in the history file delete all listings of it. This can take a while as you must delete them one at a time. Then you can reset the series or single recordings. Seems to work for some people. I am having the same problem and programs are disapearing one at a time. Good Luck

YOU WERE RIGHT I GUESS IT WAS DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE, JUST LET IT RUN IT DOES TAKE A WHILE SO BE PATIENT. 

The red message light means that your cable tv provider has left you a message. (Next to the red message light you'll see a faint yellow digit indicating the number of waiting messages.)

To read your messages, do the following:

(1) On your remote, press the "Menu/Settings" button once. This brings up the "Quick Menu."

(2) Press the "Menu/Settings" button again. This brings up the "Prevue Menu."

(3) In the "Prevue Menu," scroll down and select "Messages."

(4) Read the waiting message by pressing the "OK/Select" button on your remote.

(5) To exit the Prevue Menu, press the "Menu/Settings" button.
