Intermec CK30 Error Opening Wedge Problem

I have a CK30 that works great!
I have 5 others that are configured the same with Vista that get an Error Opening Wedge when I try to upload information. I have tried all of my edges with my working model and all are good, tried working model with all bases and all work, new scanners did work when I first received them 1 month ago.
Any Ideas?

I was getting the same error and resolved it by removing the battery and pressing the reset button. When you turn the scanner back on all the data will still be intact.

Ck30 freezing up

you must have a network issue or the CK30 experienced a power surge, if you have others that work, then that unit could be defective and needs service.

CK30 is cold booting when I remove the main battery. The supercap battery status is high and I am not depressing the cold boot button in the battery compartment.

Hello jcapsto. It could be that the backup or 'flash' battery isn't totally charged for one reason or another. This little internal battery keeps a minute current going to the units' flash memory that holds settings and other data and allows warm boots. I would recommend putting your CK30 in it's cradle with the main battery in overnight. Then trying removing the battery and it should spring right back to life. If not, then I would pin the issue on your backup battery and would implore you to contact Intermec or the vendor you purchased it from about replacement/repair. I hope this helps to at least isolate the problem. Good luck!

Green light stuck on.

Left the ck30 powered off and removed the battery. Replaced the battery with a fully charged one. After a couple hours rebooted the ck30 and it booted normally. My ck30 was tied to the AS400 system. I think this may have been a factor with this issue.
