You did not state where (through what online seller) you purchased your tickets. I do find they have been (were?) sold online through TicketMaster Australia. If you purchased your tickets through TicketMaster Australia, I suggest you pose your question to them.

Personal opinion: If you did not purchase your tickets through TicketMaster Australia, you may be justified in wondering if the tickets are counterfeit.

Yes, tickets purchased from a single listing will be seated next to each other, unless specifically stated during the check-out process. Besides, tickets marked as "Unreserved Seating" do not have specific seats assigned. Tickets marked as "General Admission" will usually be standing tickets.
