Park, Tail and Marker Lamps
The park, tail and marker lamps, including the license lamps, are turned ON when the headlamp switch is placed in either the PARK or HEADLAMP position, or anytime the headlights are requested. The PARK LP fuse in the underhood accessory wiring junction block. When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARK position, battery positive voltage is applied to the park lamp circuit. The parklamp circuit then applies battery positive voltage to the DRL control module and to all the marker, park and tail lamps. The front park lamps are grounded at G101. The rear park lamps are grounded at G302. The license plate lamps are a part of the rear park lamp circuit and are grounded at G302 The inadvertent power control feature prevents the park lights from remaining on more than 10 minutes if left ON. If the park lights are turned ON after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or is in the ACCY position, they will remain ON until turned OFF or the battery runs dead.

My 93 lumina van apv wont turn over with new battery it stopped run now wont turn over

2 potential answers from personal, NOT A MECHANIC, experience:
1. bad ignition switch
2. bad intake manifold gasket, will cause a cylinder to fill with antifreeze and lock up engine.

If it clicks when you turn key, probably not #1,
Good luck, and pray for #1, the other is very expensive to fix.

Tail lights and daytime running lights don't work.

you have a blown tail light fuse not a low battery.

2000 F150 parking lights and tail lights stay on

Are you sure they aren't the stoplights (brake lights)? There should be a stoplight switch connected to the brake pedal and replacing it would correct the problem. If it is the tail and parking lights, you must need a new switch that controls them. Signed, 64 year old car guy.

99 mercury mystide had rear running light broken

If the driver's side tail light is working, it's not a fuse. Use a test light to check for power at the bulb holder. One terminal will be for tail light, the other for brake/turn light. If the is constant power for tail light, replace bulb. If no power, trace wiring from bulb holder to driver's side junction. Probable broken wire between the two tail lights.
