  1. You did the right thing, you almost always start with the batteries first. However, it may be the controller. The speed of an electric golf cart is determined by the speed controller. Problems with this part may be trickier to diagnose and repair. This YouTube video shows you how to replace one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azWblmoGAJs I hope this helps you out! Rhonda

Hind the black box. It will have one wire running to it. The reason it is intermittent, is that heat from the engine builds up and the heat causes it to be bad. When it cools down, it will go to running again. The part runs about $50-$70 . Replace and ma

It sounds like your vehicle needs a major tune-up. Try putting in some fuel injector cleaner gas additive and a new air intake filter.

SOURCE: Electric Golf cart only shutters and inches forward

so many possibilities...

does it roll fairly freely? (checking to see if the brakes or rearend seized up)

Are there any "bad" sounds like things grinding? (Connection between Motor and rearend, axle splines...)

If all that is solid, it is likely in the controller.... (it takes a solid charge right... No bad batteries in there or loose connection? might want to check all the battery connections to make sure none are burnt...)

1997.. does it have the electonic speed control by that year? the other possibilty is that the accelerator is not working corectly. they used a resistor system on old ones that has contactors that would get worn out.... Newer ones control a potentiometer(sp) that controlled the speed.

Only a few real components to check, but if you are not mechanically and electically inclined, could be tough to isolate.

peace,

SOURCE: club car golf cart intermittent no spark

What you have is a bad ignitor. It is a small part located behind the RPM limiter. Getting to it is a little tricky but I will try to explain. On the front of the motor, you will find 2 10mm bolts holding a black object that is the RPM limiter. Take these two bolts out and you will find the silver part behind the black box. It will have one wire running to it. The reason it is intermittent, is that heat from the engine builds up and the heat causes it to be bad. When it cools down, it will go to running again. The part runs about $50-$70 . Replace and make sure the connection fits snugly and that the wire that was under one of the bolts goes back on.

How do I adjust my mantel clock so that it doesn't gain time every day.

American mantel clocks will gain or loose 5 minutes in a week, that is considered normal. This article will help you to adjust your time using the pendulum.

The owners manual for my Ryobi 210 describes carburetor adjustment but the photos do not show which screw is the idle mixture adjuster.

The Low speed adjustment screw is the one marked as "L" and would be adjusted during:
1. Idle - to insure running smoothly, and
2. Acceleration - to transition from Idle to High Speed.

The High speed adjustment screw is the one marked as "H" and would be adjusted during:
1. High speed or Wide Open Throttle. Turn about 1/8 either way to gain top RPM's and then back off slightly.

The final screw is an Idle Set screw. This screw sets the actual speed of the Idle and is the screw attached to the end of the throttle cable as it terminates at the carburetor. Turning it:
1. Clockwise - increases RPM's (speeds up motor)
2. Counter Clockwise - reduces RPM's (slows down the motor)

Acer model AT3201W no picture?? Sound is great, everything is connected tightly. Checked the manual ...no help..

There are several things that could be the problem, as usual. However I did manage to get a set working with the following characteristics:
- Set powered on ok and displayed the Acer logo fine.
- All of the inputs had very low brightness and poor colour.
- The backlight was working and appeared bright.
- The picture was barely usable with brightness/contrast set maximum.

I figured the issue here was a loss of the picture settings in the eeprom in the unit. So I set about to find how to get to the factory menu to set these things. This assumes you can get a menu to display on the set.
To enter factory mode on the remote control press menu/menu/234/menu. You will see the menu displayed with some info in the top bar that is normally not shown.
Then on the front of the TV press Volume- and Channel+ at the same time and hold until the factory menu appears.
You may see that the RGB gain and bias values are low or 0.
If that is the case set the colour temperature mode to Standard and then adjust the RGB gain and bias values to the following:
R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 270
G bias: 270
B bias: 264

Then set the colour temperature to Cold and enter the following values:
R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 270
G bias: 300
B bias: 310

Similarly, for Warm adjust the values to:
R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 300

G bias: 280
B bias: 264

Then, if this was the problem, the picture should be fairly adequate.

Hope this works for you...
BTW I must give some credit here to another poster who provided a similar solution to a different problem here:

96 civic shakes while gaining speed, okay when up to speed

If you had an aliment and tire balancing done, the only thing I can think of that would cause vibration of the car at higher RPM (3500+) Would be a motor mount. Check your motor mounts and get back to me :)
