How do I get a service manual download for this cooktop?

Thanks Deneenie, but I have been to that page and all they have is the user manual and the installation manual, plus some drawings. I need a service manual with details on faults etc.

Duh! Sorry.

I called Dacor (800-793-0093) and they DO NOT offer one.

They said they could refer a local service center based on your zipcode.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

I have a Dacor PGM 365 5 burner cooktop. Power burner igniter continues to spark when pot is on burner. When I remove pot igniter stops sparking. Thoughts?

The only thing I can think of is the the igniter has some faulty insulation and the pot is completing the circuit, or the pot is pressing something. They do have an igniter service kit.

Normally, you remove burners and shrouds and then look for screws at the front that secure the top panel. When you lift that up, the ignitor and wires are visible.

How do I unlock my Dacor cooktop

When your Dacor cooktop is locked, there will be a red light lit above the Dacor emblem located under your cooktop controls.

If you see this light, pressing the Dacor emblem for three seconds will turn it off and unlock your range. Pressing it again for three seconds will again lock your range and turn the light back on.

Another fun thing about that Dacor emblem is that if one or more of your elements are lit, tapping it twice in quick succession will turn off all elements.
