Firstly, you should know that MyMusix has a website - MyMusix.com with a fairly extensive FAQ for most models of the MyMusic players. It doesn't come up on the first couple of pages of a google search because it's crowded out by vendor and online help sites.
However, before you spend a lot of time with that, take your player out of the USB port, turn it over and look for a tiny hole with the word "reset" under it. Use a paper clip to push down and hold the tiny button inside for a couple of seconds. Watch for changes on the screen. With luck, your screen should respond with the MyMusix start-up display.
If this doesn't work, look through the rest of the FAQ for other issues related to Vista and Windows Media Player software.
