Here it is. Download. Extract. Run setup.

More than likely one of the drivers is bad. Hit F8 several times at startup until the boot screen comes up, select boot into "safe mode with networking" .

Use device manager and see if there are any problems. You can delete the drivers, and download & install new drivers if you find problems.

The eMachines W2047 desktop computer uses an FIC AM37 mobo.

There is a version 1, and version 2 of the AM37 motherboards.

I would also suggest upgrading to Adobe Reader 9.3.4. ,if you don't have it already.

Give the file time to download. It may take up to 30 seconds before you see the first page.

Do you mean as specific as specifications can get? If so, I was able to retrieve a pdf technical doc for am37. reply to this post to confirm.

I don't think there is an LED on the board itself. Here's a link to the front panel header layout though:

Your Motherboard should have come with a disc which has all the necessary drivers. You can go to Microsoft Updates, they may detect your on board driver need. Or, when all else fails, purchase a PCI Sound Card which will have a driver included. You will need to disable the onboard soundcard in your BIOS if you go this route.

You need all the supported motherboard drivers (eg: PCI Bridge...) as you can see by the image of my Device manager screen there are MANY motherboard driver. Goto manufacturers web site... You should be able to get them.
