How do I change my language on the HTC Touch Diamond from Italian to English?
Go to HTC's website and go to support and select htc touch diamond (make sure its 'diamond' and not 'htc touch'!) and see if there are any rom updates (in english). Make sure it is for your phone + carrier/cell provider, as sometimes there are different rom versions, for different carriers. (depends on your country, so change the country)
Download the unlocked version from the worldwide/us website.
It should be in english, if not check back with me. Since it is unlocked get the htc touch diamond rom without a carrier name beside it (denotes/means that it is an unlocked phone).
More info: The Rogers touch diamond would be their specific phone that you buy here (from Rogers), although it should be similar to the unlocked. Either way, if you download the carrier-specific version it will cause problems, and should let you load it onto the phone anyway. So make sure you get the unlocked version.

I bought the phone from an Italian Born person, who purchased the phone in Italy.
The phone is Unbranded and Unlocked and in Italian. It is not on a contract or anything.
When I go to the HTC website, there are ROM Updates for the HTC Touch Diamond and then the HTC Touch Diamond - Rogers. I have a Rogers plan, but this phone was not purchased from Rogers. Will this work?
Also, they are asking me for the S/N number inside the phone. When I type in that number to download the ROM, it says Italian ROM Update, so this seems as though it will download back the Italian Language and everything back onto the phone.
Another thing as well, after I download the ROM Update, how do I Set it Up? When I click on the Setup icon, it asks me to specify a Program to run it with............I don't know which program they are asking about.
