The clerk login should never change without secret code programming so it seems very strange. What buttons are you pressing to log in. Are you sure you are using the correct PIN numbers for your clerks?

You haven't logged on. Type your log on number and press CLK# button or try pressing a clerk button next to the mode key.If you need a manual, c-tech has them here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio5.php

Hi I have casio se-c450 I press anything it will show E008 it say please sign on I don't know what is that thanks

You should have been given a secret PIN number by your manager to log on to the machine. It won't allow sales without a sign on because it can't be traced to an operator. If you have forgotten the PIN number, you can program a new one. One of the users has a manual here:

I think you need to sign out one of these clerk numbers before you can sign in.
the clerk number is on the receipt when it prints out

How do I sign on and get rid of the E008! How do I put a clerk in there so I can sign on

Hi. You just type in your clerk id number and press the CLK# (clerk) button. That will remove the error and allow use of the register. If you've forgotten your secret ID code, you can program a new one. One of the users has most manuals here:

I am not sure if I program clerk numbers yet, but I can not sign on my PCR-T470 I keep getting E008, and I tried 1 Clerk, 2 clerk, etc... and I get no where. Any suggestions?

That surgest you have no clerk numbers yet as the error E008 = Not signed on, working without a clerk number i have uploaded a manual for this on my host HERE i hope this helps

Casio cash register pcr-t470

This is correct. You have to be signed on to the machine to perform any tasks. this is because the machine keeps a record of who performed any functions. Just sign on to enter programming
