hi jamie firstly you will need to connect your receiver to the pc go to the binatone website and look for updates you may have to pay for them goodluck
Unfortunately the software needs reloading, if under 1 year old and you have the receipt contact Binatone on 0845 345 9677 and they will resolve this for you free of charge. If it is over 1 year old or you do not have the receipt they can resolve this for you for £32.99 which includes brand new software with latest maps.
If the Sat Nav is under 12 months old and you have the receipt, this will be resolved for you by Binatone by calling 0845 345 9677. If it is over 12 months old or you do not have the receipt they can still resolve this for you by installing brand new software and uploading the latest maps for £32.99. It is well worth it as this gives you the absolute latest maps available therefore newer than the ones in the shops!
Anyone with a Binatone satellite navigation system featuring UK and Ireland maps can now easily update to Western European coverage by contacting the Binatone helpline on 0845 345 9677. The extended maps will be provided on a 2Gb SD card at a cost of £39.99
you can only get updates for the binatone carrera x350 from Navteq.com as the mapping softwear is from them. You have to pay a little for them but all the updates and traffic cam's etc are here for you to find. Hope this helps
